• Document source. Decide where approved instruction files originate and who maintains the attachment used for release review.
• Certificate source. Bring supplier and process certificate files into the material trace entry with the correct serial and heat.
• Identity. Map platform users to People so assigned inspectors, auditors, owners and verifiers are the intended individuals.

Name the owner of each source, the identifier used to match records and the point at which a human checks imported evidence. Rehearse one inspection, one controlled revision and one trace entry before expanding imports. A reference or attachment should be visible on the right source record after the transfer.
