Who it's for

Automotive suppliers

A supplier quality team can start with the inspections it already performs at receipt and final release. Each case identifies a subject, type, assignee and schedule. The individual checks carry the requirement, observed result and supporting attachment. A Quality Reviewer sees the evidence before accepting or rejecting the scope.

How Automotive QMS is set up for you

Incoming checks

Inspector records the received subject and the requirement results in one linked case.

Failure follow-up

A rejected case opens a nonconformance with severity, then a corrective action with cause, owner and due date.

Part submission context

A PPAP record carries part number, revision, submission level and customer and links to the operating inspection.

Measurement evidence

A gauge study records the sample, trial and measured value against the same inspection context.

A supplier quality team can start with the inspections it already performs at receipt and final release. Each case identifies a subject, type, assignee and schedule. The individual checks carry the requirement, observed result and supporting attachment. A Quality Reviewer sees the evidence before accepting or rejecting the scope.

Choose an incoming part family with a stable inspection routine. Define how the team writes its subject reference and how it knows which checks require attachments. Rehearse one passing case and one failed case. In the failed case, the Quality Reviewer rejects the inspection, assigns severity to the linked issue and hands correction to the named owner. Close only after a separate reviewer tests effectiveness.

Use the part submission and gauge records when that operating case needs them. The PPAP submission can advance from Preparation to Submitted after its details and inspection link are checked. A gauge reading should be attached to the correct inspection before the parent goes to Review. Agree on the external customer submission channel and any production data connection during setup.
