Issue resolution

The nonconformance is the investigation record for a rejected inspection. It retains severity, description and detection date, with a direct link back to the inspected case. A corrective action plan can then refer to that same nonconformance.

Step by step

  1. Detect the rejection Quality Manager

Quality Manager rejects an inspection after reviewing its linked checks.

    • Source evidence and rejection are visible.
    • Updates Inspections, Inspection checks
  2. Contain the issue Corrective Action Owner

Corrective Action Owner sees the linked nonconformance in containment and records the immediate problem.

    • The issue enters containment with its source link.
    • Updates Nonconformances, Inspections
  3. Investigate the cause Corrective Action Owner

Corrective Action Owner reviews the source inspection and writes the issue description and severity.

    • Description and severity can be checked against observations.
    • Updates Nonconformances, Inspection checks
  4. Record disposition Quality Manager

Quality Manager and owner record the disposition and keep the response connected to the issue.

    • The next response is decided.
    • Updates Nonconformances
  5. Carry the action forward Corrective Action Owner
