Supplier quality teams
Supplier quality teams need a trace from an incoming lot to the supplier and the response that followed. The supplier master, inspection, nonconformance report and audit finding supply that trail. A period scorecard makes the trend visible for review.
How Quality Management System is set up for you
Supplier identity
Keep the supplier code and approval status current so incoming issues attach to the intended company record.
Receiving evidence
Record the inspection source, affected item, lot and defect code before assigning a response.
Supplier audit
Use a supplier audit type, standard and clause checklists to show what was examined.
Period review
Compare receipts inspected, reject rate, major NCR count, score and grade within a named date range.
Supplier quality teams need a trace from an incoming lot to the supplier and the response that followed. The supplier master, inspection, nonconformance report and audit finding supply that trail. A period scorecard makes the trend visible for review.
Choose one active component supplier with recent incoming inspections. Enter its supplier record and connect an affected incoming lot to a nonconformance report. Apply containment, record the response owner and give the issue a due date through the appropriate finding or CAPA task. The Quality Manager reviews disposition if affected material needs a decision.
Create a supplier audit with a narrow scope and record one clause observation and one finding. Follow the response through verification. At period close, fill a scorecard using the team's agreed calculation and review its dates and measures with Quality Manager. Preserve each period's score instead of editing the previous one. The score and grade should be read alongside the issues that occurred in that period.
