Keys and references

The reference on each child record is the important join. A content files row points to its content items parent; a rights agreements row points to the same kind of parent. Ad play logs uses operational record for its content link. Broadcast slots uses Presenter for the People reference. Projects is the parent for content, tasks and costs. Preserve these references during migration, and check date values and select values before the team uses the schedule or review lists.

Migration order

  1. Import Users and People, then confirm the People.User links.
  2. Import Projects with their People owners.
  3. Add content items, production tasks and project costs under the right projects.
  4. Add content files and rights agreements under their content items.
  5. Add broadcast slots with presenters and air windows.
  6. Add ad play logs with valid content references and timestamps.
