Packet indexing

Check property identity and evidence before recording an indexed revision.

Step by step

  1. Collect Packet Packet Owner

Packet Owner records the property, organization, owner, document date and parcel identifier. The source documents belong with the packet before indexing begins.

    • Identify the packet and owner
    • Updates Property packets, Properties, Organizations, People
  2. Verify Evidence Indexing Operator

Indexing Operator checks the attachment and external reference for each evidence item. A named verifier records the result and returns an unclear item to the owner.

    • Record verification or assign a source question
    • Updates Evidence documents, Follow up actions
  3. Attach Title Versions Packet Owner

Packet Owner links dated title observations to the packet, preserving their source references and sequence.

    • Keep observations with the source packet
    • Updates Title document versions, Property packets
  4. Index Revision Indexing Operator

Indexing Operator checks the packet identity and evidence together. The indexed status applies to the revision actually examined.

    • Record the indexed revision and transition
    • Updates Property packets, State history, Operation runs, Operation steps
