Property portfolio teams
A portfolio team often needs to explain a cash figure in the context of the decision that led to it. The tracker links property cash flow snapshots to investment instructions, while preserving each snapshot's own date, amount, scenario, revision and review state. The team can inspect both the property entry and the request it belongs to.
How Real Estate Investment Tracker is set up for you
Property snapshots
Compare net cash entries by property, occurrence date and forecast scenario.
Review queue
See submitted snapshots separately from completed ones.
Source request
Open the parent instruction to inspect its owner, counterparty, amount and status.
Decision evidence
Use the decision log and linked attachments when an amount or scenario is challenged.
A portfolio team often needs to explain a cash figure in the context of the decision that led to it. The tracker links property cash flow snapshots to investment instructions, while preserving each snapshot's own date, amount, scenario, revision and review state. The team can inspect both the property entry and the request it belongs to.
Select a property with a recent cash event and an existing investment instruction. Agree a consistent property name, source date and scenario label. Have the Operations Analyst enter the snapshot and link the intended organization and parent request. Ask an Independent Finance Reviewer to compare the amount and context to the available evidence before approving the submitted revision.
Then change one detail in a rehearsal. The earlier approval should remain tied to the earlier revision. Send the corrected entry through a new review and inspect how it appears in the awaiting-review list. Keep a rejected case visible with its reason so a later reader understands the correction.
Use the instruction's provider evidence when the property entry relates to an externally executed request. A provider event includes its own quantity, price and fees, which answer a different question from a net cash snapshot. When those figures are discussed together, keep their dates, source identities and review decisions clear. The pilot is complete when the team can reconstruct why the property amount was accepted without relying on a private spreadsheet or a person's memory.
