Step by step

1. Prepare instruction Operations Analyst

   Operations Analyst enters the record number, subject, requested amount, owner, organization, counterparty and current revision in Draft. Add supporting attachments.

   • Establishes the request and support
   • Updates Instructions, Record attachments

2. Request review Operations Analyst

   Operations Analyst moves the current request from Draft to Review and makes the evidence available to the reviewer.

   • Places the revision in Review
   • Updates Instructions

3. Independent review Independent Finance Reviewer

   Independent Finance Reviewer checks the current revision, organization and counterparty, then records a reasoned Approve, Reject or Return decision.

   • Records reviewer, source revision and reason
   • Updates Review decisions, Instructions
   ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.

4. Authorize outcome Independent Finance Reviewer

   An approved review can move the instruction from Review to Authorized. A rejected review retains the reason and an instruction state of Rejected.

   • Separates accepted and rejected requests
   • Updates Instructions, Review decisions

5. Follow the revision Operations Analyst

   A changed request needs a fresh decision for its new revision before it can proceed.

   • Prevents stale decisions from covering a changed request
   • Updates Instructions, Operation receipts
