How a Regulatory Change Management rollout works

Set scope, rehearse a rule decision and then expand the operating cycle.

  1. Set the operating scope

Choose the first organization and business unit, their team members and the rule publication source.

  2. Prepare control context

Enter owned risks and controls with effective dates, then agree on test evidence conventions.

  3. Rehearse an assessment

Create a period, plan tests, record a result and carry a finding into corrective work.

  4. Rehearse review

Submit a rule change, ask an independent reviewer to decide on the revision and inspect any operation receipt.

  5. Expand use

Add further organizations and business units after the team can explain a complete pilot case from its records.

What the customer provides

Bring the organization and business unit list, named owners and reviewers, current risks and controls, a representative rule publication and evidence for a sample test. Agree on the source citation, risk scale version, assessment period and criteria for test results. A useful pilot includes a returned decision or a failed test so the team can practice follow-up as well as approval.

Changing it afterwards

As new rule publications arrive, record their source and effective date and scope them to the right assessment. Update control ownership and effective dates when responsibility changes. Preserve decisions by revision and keep earlier test, finding and receipt history available when a later review changes the implementation plan. Recheck access whenever membership changes.
