How a Remote Patient Monitoring rollout works

Prepare patient identity, clinical authority, devices and care handoffs in sequence.

  1. Set care policy

Agree consent purposes, privilege checks, care assignments, review cadence and escalation owners.

  2. Prepare identities

Link staff to users, import patient numbers and confirm assigned clinicians.

  3. Load authority

Add signed consent, verified privileges and active care team assignments with dates.

  4. Pilot devices

Enroll known devices, submit real-format readings and reconcile units and source events.

  5. Rehearse care

Move a reading through clinician review, task assignment, encounter documentation, signature and completion.

  6. Rehearse billing

Approve a service charge, reconcile its invoice in the billing system and confirm a patient payment reference.

What the customer provides

Provide the patient roster, staff identities, consent forms and versions, clinician verification evidence, care assignment policy, device identifiers and source event format. The care lead supplies review and escalation rules. The billing lead supplies approved service descriptions, amount rules and invoice and payment reference formats. Choose a small pilot group with valid, questionable and withdrawn-consent cases.

Changing it afterwards

Review the consequences for existing patients before changing a consent purpose, device mapping or privilege policy. End an old device enrollment when replacing a device and retain its readings. Keep signed clinical documentation attributable when amended. Rehearse ordinary work and denied access after each material policy or connection change.
