Product teams
A product team can use Requirements Management to keep requested behavior, assigned delivery work and acceptance reviews in one project context. A Business Analyst records the current requirement revision; team members work the smaller items; a Project Manager reviews the baseline that captures what is being accepted. Verification findings remain linked to the project when checks reveal a gap.
How Requirements Management is set up for you
Product scope
Keep each requested outcome on a requirement record under the relevant project, with an owner and current revision.
Delivery work
Use requirement items for assigned pieces, including priority, due date, estimate and progress state.
Acceptance review
Put the revision and criteria into a dated baseline before asking the Project Manager to decide.
Verification
Record findings with severity and owner, then move them through investigation and verification.
Start with one active project and a limited set of current requirements. Give each requirement a clear description and owner, then add only the items the team is ready to work. The board can anchor the regular delivery review. When an item reaches review, compare it with the parent requirement before moving it to done. A finding should be recorded when the check fails, with enough context for its owner to investigate.
For a baseline rehearsal, choose a requirement whose revision is known. Add acceptance criteria, submit the baseline and check the receipt's expected revision. The Project Manager should read the submitted version and record the decision. If the product request changes during review, return to the requirement and baseline before accepting the new scope. This keeps the decision tied to the version the team actually saw.
