How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Retail Analytics for your business. Pilot one measured property, one completed period, a consented basket-fact scope and a reviewer decision before expanding.

What does the snapshot represent?

It is a dated measurement linked to an organization, a store definition and an owner. Its source identity and revision help the team inspect the exact case behind a result.

How are basket facts reviewed?

The analyst can inspect pending, accepted and rejected facts under their parent snapshot. Source references, observed dates and consent basis help explain each fact.

Can a reviewer return a measurement?

Yes. A review decision can be returned with a reason and tied to a specific snapshot revision. The owner can address the issue and present a revised case.

How do we understand a conversion result?

Open its metric definition, period, numerator, denominator, row count and linked run. Read the source window before comparing it with another period.

What happens when a source is stale?

The source capture records freshness and coverage. Assign a follow-up action to check the capture and the affected observation or result.

Can we compare different stores?

Use store definitions and the same approved metric interpretation for the periods being compared. Check effective dates and source mappings when event meaning changes.

Who decides publication?

The Measurement Owner handles the snapshot lifecycle after an Independent Reviewer records the decision for its exact revision.

Where do upstream events come from?

Connect the retailer’s event source during implementation. Keep stable source references, coverage and consent context with the resulting facts.
