How a Retail Analytics rollout works
Start with one measured property and prove the full review cycle.
Set measurement scope
Choose an organization, measured property, store definition and completed reporting period. Agree consent basis and source identity.
Prepare inputs
Record the source mapping and capture window, then collect a bounded set of basket facts under the dated snapshot.
Review the rule
Draft the metric definition, work a normal and zero-denominator example, and have the Independent Reviewer decide the rule.
Rehearse a case
Check the observation, result and operation trace. Return one snapshot revision for correction and approve the corrected revision.
Run follow-up
Assign a stale-source or result exception with a due date; close it only after the source and review outcome are clear.
What the customer provides
Provide the measured property identity, a consented event source, stable source references, owners and reviewers, the definition of a session and conversion, and a completed period with known figures. Also provide the destination for any distributed result and the people who may decide publication.
Changing it afterwards
Version a changed metric definition or mapping instead of altering the interpretation of an earlier period. Keep earlier reviewer decisions tied to their source revisions. Rehearse a changed source window and inspect the result’s run and row count before broadening the rollout. Review the data model.
