1. Identify source Data Steward

3. Capture window Data Steward

   The steward records capture time, coverage boundaries, row count, freshness and source hash. An analyst compares the window with the store date.

4. Record observation Retail Analyst

   The Retail Analyst relates the reading to both the retail snapshot and source capture, with its period, numerator, denominator, unit and value.
