How the model is organised
Quote Preparation
Quotes references Organizations, Customers through Counterparty, and team members through Owner. Customers and team members each reference Organizations; team members.User identifies the platform identity in Users.
Line Pricing
Quote lines belongs to Quotes through Parent. Quantity, unit price USD and discount USD produce net line USD, which contributes to Quotes.net amount USD. Exchange rates holds read-only rates with effective from and Overridden context.
Channel Bundles
Bundle offers references Quotes through Parent and Organizations through Organization. Channel, promotion code, bundle quantity and valid until describe the offer being reviewed.
Pricing Review
Review decisions belongs to Quotes and identifies Reviewer in team members. Source revision and operation key tie the decision to its request and commercial revision.
Order Handoff
Operation receipts belongs to Quotes. Expected revision, Action and operation key identify the request; result state and external reference describe its recorded outcome.
Evidence and Reconciliation
Record attachments belongs to Quotes and identifies uploaded by in team members. Visibility and evidence type describe the evidence; operation receipts retains effect references and failure reason for investigation.

Keys and references
Preserve Id values on the records that expose them, and the uppercase ID on exchange rates. Use Quotes.record number as the human quote reference. Customer and organization Code values identify business parties, while reference fields carry the actual record relationship.
Users.User is a self-reference in the account model. Resolve real platform identities before linking team members.User. My Quotes must resolve the authenticated user to the authorized team members record used by Quotes.Owner; a display-name comparison is insufficient.
Review decisions.source revision and operation receipts.expected revision must match the revision they describe. A handoff uses the stable operation key pattern handoff:<quoteId>:<revision>. Preserve old evidence when a new revision or compensating action is introduced.
Migration order
- Establish Organizations and authorized Users, then link team members to those identities and organizations.
- Load Customers with their Organization, Active flag, Code and eligibility note. Confirm ownership and scope before creating offers.
- Load Quotes with Counterparty and Owner references, then quote lines and bundle offers under the correct Parent.
- Attach record attachments with uploader and visibility. Preserve review decisions and operation receipts as historical evidence rather than regenerating decisions from current status.
- Load or connect the approved exchange rates source as read-only context and rehearse the USD pricing and downstream currency mapping.
