Integrations

• Receiving order system. Set up the destination for accepted quotes and their preserved lines. Agree which external reference confirms the receiving effect. Without that connection, the handoff remains Pending.
• Product and price sources. Connect or import the approved product codes and price inputs used by Quote Specialist. Retain the price book reference with the quote so Pricing Reviewer can identify the basis of the offer.
• Customer source. If customer records come from another business system, map customer codes, eligibility and selling organization deliberately. App Administrator owns the resulting active customer scope.
• Exchange-rate source. Agree the source of effective exchange rates and who governs any override indication. Quote and line net amounts are in USD; conversion required by a receiving system belongs to its connection mapping.

Assign a business owner for each connection and rehearse it with a representative customer offer. Requests must preserve organization scope and the expected quote revision. The accepted quote’s operation identity must remain stable when the same handoff is requested again.

A successful request response alone is insufficient to confirm the commercial effect. Inspect the actual destination reference and keep it with the operation receipt. If the response is uncertain, investigate that receipt and the receiving system before repeating an effect. Reconciliation checks the recorded evidence; it must not create a new order to make an earlier result appear successful.

Agree how the receiving system handles its own order processing and any later compensation. Preserve the accepted quote and original operation evidence when a commercial correction is authorized. Rehearse the complete boundary through accepted quote handoff.
