Grade and decide

Move an inspected return through submission and independent grade review.

Step by step

  1. Draft return grade Inventory Clerk

Inventory Clerk links the return reference to the stock request and records accepted units and disposition. The request identifies the item and working locations. Attach condition material to the request when the decision depends on it.

    • Captures return reference, accepted units and condition context
    • Updates Return grades, Stock requests, Record attachments
  2. Submit return grade Inventory Clerk

The clerk submits the current draft. Submission advances the grade revision and presents the inspection result for review.

    • Moves Draft to Submitted
    • Updates Return grades
  3. Decide return grade Inventory Supervisor

Inventory Supervisor reads the current grade and linked request, then approves or rejects it. The person who created the grade cannot make this decision. A stale revision is refused so an older screen cannot decide changed accepted units.

    • Moves Submitted to Approved or Rejected
    • Updates Return grades, Stock requests
ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.
  4. Complete grade Inventory Clerk

After an approved result and the linked stock work are checked, the clerk completes the grade. Completion advances the grade revision. The linked request remains the place to inspect the stock action and its evidence.
