Who it's for

Customer operations automation

Customer operations teams can use RPA Task Manager for recurring actions that start from an external source record. A definition keeps the source record ID, scheduled date, owner and queue together. The run trace records attempts, observed outcomes and external receipts so the team can explain what the bot did when a customer case needs review.

How RPA Task Manager is set up for you

Ownership

Assign each definition to a person and operating organization.

Outcome

Keep an observed result separate from the provider execution status.

Follow-up

Route exceptions to an assignee and record the final resolution.

Customer operations teams can use RPA Task Manager for recurring actions that start from an external source record. A definition keeps the source record ID, scheduled date, owner and queue together. The run trace records attempts, observed outcomes and external receipts so the team can explain what the bot did when a customer case needs review.

Pick a routine bot with a stable source record identifier and an external receipt the team can inspect. Set up the queue policy and field mapping. Create a definition for one owner, schedule a validated revision and have a separate reviewer decide on it. Once approved and eligible, run the bot and follow its operation key through the attempt and numbered step.

During the rehearsal, include a rejected observed outcome and an uncertain provider attempt. The first describes what the bot reported; the second calls for investigation of the external action. The Exception Coordinator assigns a follow-up and records a resolution when the provider result is known. The Operations Analyst can then read volume and turnaround without losing the individual trace.
