- Who it's for
- Shared services automation
Shared services automation
Shared services teams often run the same kind of automation for several operating units. RPA Task Manager gives each definition an owning organization, owner, queue and scheduled date. A Queue Administrator can keep policy references and field mappings close to the queue used by the work. A Bot Reviewer makes a separate decision on the scheduled revision before eligible execution.
How RPA Task Manager is set up for you
Operating scope
Group definitions under the organization that owns the work.
Review
Route scheduled revisions to an independent reviewer with a recorded decision.
Exceptions
Assign failed or uncertain runs to a named person with a due date and resolution.
Choose a recurring task whose external outcome can be checked by receipt. Set up the organization and queue, then assign an operator and reviewer. Prepare a draft definition with its source record ID and intended runtime version. Validate and schedule a revision. The scheduling trace and pending review decision should point to that same revision.
During the pilot, run one approved definition and inspect the attempt, observed result, durable operation and numbered step. Agree which external reference is authoritative when a provider response is late. Open a follow-up for an uncertain result, and practice reconciling it before another attempt. Use the reports page to compare volume and turnaround after the team has inspected individual runs.
