Who it's for

Professional services teams

A professional services firm may move people between client teams while continuing to pay for shared applications. The subscription record gives each application a commercial owner. Usage records show the person, assigned date, last active date and revoked date for each allocation. Service requests carry the decision and fulfillment trail when access needs to change.

How SaaS Management Platform is set up for you

People changes

Review existing allocations before approving another seat for a new team member.

Service requests

Tie requested work to the requester and service, then record the approval outcome.

Planned changes

Give the approver the service, risk, schedule and rollback plan before implementation.

A professional services firm may move people between client teams while continuing to pay for shared applications. The subscription record gives each application a commercial owner. Usage records show the person, assigned date, last active date and revoked date for each allocation. Service requests carry the decision and fulfillment trail when access needs to change.

Choose an application used by one delivery team. Record its subscription owner, seat count, monthly cost and renewal date. Link current allocations to the people using it. Add a revoked date for a person who has left the team. The Service Manager can compare those records before deciding whether a new request needs another seat or a reassignment of work.

Use a submitted request for the new person's access. The Service Manager approves or rejects it. If approved, the Service Technician performs the action and updates the usage record. The manager records request completion and checks that the allocation points to the intended subscription and person. This gives both the requester and portfolio owner a consistent account of what changed.

If a planned service change affects the application, review the window and rollback plan separately. A change approval should not be inferred from a completed access request. Keep operational decisions with their own records and owners.
