Arrival and service completion

Record the customer's arrival and the supported service outcome on the current booking revision.

Step by step

  1. Locate the confirmed visit Stylist

Stylist identifies the customer, scheduled interval and assigned booking. Confirm that the record belongs to the authorized salon and that the current revision describes the visit being performed.

    • Establish the current visit and authorized actor
    • Updates Bookings, Team members
  2. Record arrival Stylist

Stylist executes the eligible arrival action, moving the booking from Confirmed into progress. Retain the operation receipt for the recorded outcome.

    • Record the move into active service
    • Updates Bookings, Operation receipts
  3. Complete the service Stylist

Stylist supplies the evidence required by the salon's service policy. Move active work to Completed and record the completion date only when the evidence supports that result.

    • Retain supported completion and its date
    • Updates Bookings, Record attachments, Operation receipts
  4. Review the outcome Booking Coordinator

Booking Coordinator checks the service result and unresolved receipts. Payment Reviewer examines provider payment evidence separately from the quoted amount and the fact that the service was completed.

    • Separate service outcome from payment evidence
    • Updates Bookings, Operation receipts, Payment evidence

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • A completed stylist confirmation is mistaken for customer arrival. Check the parent booking's actual state.
  • Another person's assignment is used without an authorized handoff. Resolve ownership and access before recording the action.
  • A scheduled end is treated as the actual completion date. Record the supported service outcome separately.
  • Completed service is described as collected revenue. Inspect verified payment-provider events before discussing money received.
