Request to confirmation

Prepare the appointment interval and resource claims, then check the evidence needed to confirm the visit.

Step by step

  1. Record the request Booking Coordinator

Booking Coordinator records the customer, appointment subject, scheduled start and end, owner and quoted amount. Confirm the salon organization and main resource before preparing the hold.

    • Identify the visit, owner and salon scope
    • Updates Bookings, Organizations, Team members, Resources
  2. Prepare the reservation Booking Coordinator

Booking Coordinator selects the resources required by the visit and records their reserved units, capacity basis and setup or cleanup allowances. Check the intended interval under the salon's agreed eligibility policy.

    • Record the resource claim and preparation allowances
    • Updates Booking resources, Resources, Bookings
  3. Hold the interval Booking Coordinator

Booking Coordinator requests the eligible hold for the current booking revision. Resolve resource or timing conflicts before treating the appointment as Held.

    • Hold an eligible interval under the configured policy
    • Updates Bookings, Booking resources, Operation receipts
  4. Review the stylist arrangement Booking Supervisor

Booking Supervisor independently decides the submitted service and stylist revision. Complete this review before final booking confirmation in the agreed pilot sequence.

    • Record the decision on the submitted service arrangement
    • Updates Stylist appointments, Review decisions, Record attachments
ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.
  5. Confirm supported work Booking Coordinator

Booking Coordinator checks the agreed consent and deposit evidence before moving the held booking to Confirmed. An unverified external result needs review rather than an unsupported confirmation outcome.

    • Confirm the visit when its evidence supports the action
    • Updates Bookings, Payment evidence, Record attachments, Operation receipts

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • The appointment subject identifies a service but the linked resource is wrong. Check the actual chair, station or room before requesting a hold.
  • Setup and cleanup are ignored when reviewing the requested interval. Include the agreed allowances in the capacity discussion.
  • The quoted amount is treated as a verified deposit. Examine the separate provider evidence.
  • A request acts on an outdated booking revision. Resolve the changed scope before continuing.
