Record and review boarding

The boarding record carries a route, authorized stop, time and passenger count for its parent run and organization. It gives a supervisor enough operational context to examine a submitted observation without placing student identity in the bus operations record. A boarding status remains distinct from delivery of the whole run.

Step by step

  1. Record pickup and boarding Dispatcher

Dispatcher enters the observation against the run and submits the boarding record for review.

    • Link a Draft or Submitted boarding to the run
    • Updates Student boardings, Loads, Load stops
  2. Review boarding evidence Transport Supervisor

Transport Supervisor compares the route, stop, time and count with the run's stop observation and supporting files. Inspect the boarding status and decision time.

    • Inspect the boarding status and run-level review evidence
    • Updates Student boardings, Review decisions, Record attachments
  3. Follow the run Dispatcher

Dispatcher continues updating the run's operating status and actual stop observations.

    • Keep dispatch and actual stop times with the journey
    • Updates Loads, Load stops
