How do I get started?
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure SCM for Automotive Parts for your business. Begin with one organization, an active location, a representative SKU and a reviewed request.
Who prepares a stock request?
Inventory Coordinator records the owner, item, quantity, location and required date, then submits the request for independent review.
Who decides on a request?
Inventory Reviewer records a decision and reason against a particular request revision. A changed request needs its current revision considered.
How is vehicle fitment checked?
A fitment check records vehicle model, model year and OEM reference under the request. Inventory Reviewer decides on the check revision separately from the parent stock request.
How do lots affect the work?
Each lot has a release state and expiry date. The team checks that evidence before selecting a lot for reservation or movement.
What is a reservation?
A reservation claims quantity for a specific request, item and location, with a lot when the case requires one.
Where can I see a stock change?
A posted stock movement carries signed quantity and links to its request, item and location. A correction adds a movement linked to the original.
What happens after an uncertain operation?
Inventory Reviewer compares the operation receipt’s expected revision and effect references with the recorded effects, then resolves or investigates the outcome.
Can an administrator approve a request?
Membership administration and stock review are separate responsibilities. The independent reviewer makes the decision on the request revision.
