Who it's for

Temperature-controlled storage

A temperature-controlled storage team works with requests that depend on the right item, lot and location. Storage locations carry an eligibility note and active state. Lots carry expiry and release state. Together those records give the coordinator and reviewer the context for a request before an approved scope becomes an operational outcome.

How Cold Chain SCM is set up for you

Storage context

Check the location address, contact and eligibility note when a request names its source and counterparty.

Held stock

Use the lot's Quarantined or Blocked release state when assessing whether stock should be considered.

Temperature event

Connect a cold chain review and its sensor reference to the parent request and supporting attachment.

Quantity trail

Read active reservations separately from posted stock movements to explain free and on-hand stock.

A temperature-controlled storage team works with requests that depend on the right item, lot and location. Storage locations carry an eligibility note and active state. Lots carry expiry and release state. Together those records give the coordinator and reviewer the context for a request before an approved scope becomes an operational outcome.

Start with one organization and the locations that participate in the first operating cycle. Confirm that each item has a base unit and that the relevant lots carry expiry dates and release states. Give each request a named owner. Agree who checks a submitted cold chain review and what evidence they need before an approval or rejection.

Rehearse a request for a lot near expiry, followed by a temperature hold on another lot. Inventory Coordinator should be able to show the request status and stock context. Inventory Reviewer should be able to show the reason and revision behind a decision. After the outcome, compare the operation receipt with posted movements and any active reservations. Keep uncertain results in the exception queue until the trail is reconciled.
