Keys and references

Purchase requests links to Organizations, team members as Owner and Suppliers as Counterparty. Purchase lines, review decisions, record attachments, operation receipts and customs declarations link back to a purchase through Parent. Customs declarations also links directly to Organizations. Keep these references intact when importing history. Record number identifies the purchase in conversation; the linked record remains the join key.

Migration order

  1. Set up identity and organization. Load Users, Organizations and team members with their references.
  2. Prepare counterparties. Load Suppliers in their organization.
  3. Load purchase cases. Add purchase requests with owner and counterparty, then purchase lines.
  4. Attach decisions and filing history. Add review decisions, customs declarations, record attachments and operation receipts against the intended purchase.
  5. Check a full case. Trace a request from its supplier and lines to its review and customs records.
