Keys and references

Use stable organization and customer codes, product SK us, customer order numbers and external order IDs. Match provider events by their provider event IDs and shipment events by their external event IDs. Keep routing acknowledgement IDs separate from shipment IDs. Review decisions carry source revisions; operation receipts carry expected revisions and operation keys. Preserve these identifiers during migration so a replay can be investigated against its original record.

Migration order

  1. Load Organizations, Users and team members with the intended organization membership.
  2. Load Customers and Products with stable codes and SK us.
  3. Load customer orders and order lines, checking owners, customer references and promised dates.
  4. Load supplier routing, review decisions and record attachments linked to the appropriate order revision.
  5. Load payment evidence, fulfillment events and operation receipts with original external identifiers; reconcile a sample of open orders before daily use.
