Order acceptance

Check the destination, menu scope, service time and amount before accepting an order.

Step by step

  1. Check order Order Coordinator

Order Coordinator creates a draft with a destination, owner, service time and menu lines. The coordinator checks active products, portion quantities and allergen declarations against the requested meal scope.

    • Destination and menu scope identified
    • Updates Distribution orders, Order lines, Delivery points, Products
  2. Check capacity Order Coordinator

The acceptance workflow validates whether the service time is feasible and calculates the net amount from the accepted lines. A changed quantity requires the current order revision to be read again.

    • Service time, portions and allergens checked
    • Updates Distribution orders, Order lines, Ingredients
  3. Accept order Order Coordinator

Order Coordinator records the actual accepted time and guarded operation receipt as the order moves from draft to accepted. The receipt identifies the request so a repeated call returns the established outcome.

    • Accepted time and operation result retained
    • Updates Distribution orders, Operation receipts
  4. Hand off to kitchen Kitchen Lead

Kitchen Lead reads the accepted order and its lines before starting preparation. The acceptance decision identifies a commitment, while actual preparation and service are recorded later.
