How the model is organised
Demand Proposals
Demand proposals references stock requests through Parent and Organizations through Organization. Model version, generated at, proposed units and confidence percent identify the recommendation context.
Stock Requests
Stock requests references Item, Location, Counterparty, Owner and Organization. Both Location and Counterparty reference storage locations; Owner references team members.
Inventory Positions
Stock movements references Item, Location and optional Lot. Stock lots belongs to stock items and holds expires at and release state. Stock items defines base unit and lot tracked.
Reservations and Issues
Stock reservations references Request, Item, Location and optional Lot, with Quantity, State and expires at defining the claim.
Receipts and Transfers
Stock movements.Parent ties the effect to its request. Posted, signed quantity, source effect key and occurred at support the stock ledger and source evidence.
Reversals and Evidence
Stock movements.Reverses links a compensating movement to its original. Review decisions, operation receipts and record attachments all reference stock requests through Parent. Team members.User links operating membership to Users.

Keys and references
Preserve SKU, location Code, lot code and record number as recognizable business identifiers, with actual record IDs used in reference fields. Item code and lot code text on a movement do not replace the Item and Lot relationships.
Sum signed quantity only where Posted is true for on-hand. Keep Item, Location, Lot and base unit in the calculation context. Compare active reservation Quantity within its exact item/location/lot scope, using the item’s base unit and the relevant lot eligibility evidence.
Retain the original posting’s source effect key and link a compensating movement through Reverses. Repeated attempts of the same action use that action’s stable operation key. Agree how the original posting and its compensating action are identified during setup; carrying the source reference forward does not mean copying the posting’s operation key into the reversal. Review decisions.Parent identifies the request; use source revision and operation key with the review evidence to identify the revision actually decided. Retain the request and proposal revision context separately.
Migration order
- Prepare Organizations, Users and team members with the correct User and Organization references.
- Import stock items and storage locations with base-unit, active-state and eligibility information.
- Create stock lots with Item, owner reference, release state and expiry evidence.
- Prepare stock requests and demand proposals with the actual owner, location and item relationships. Preserve genuine decision evidence for any imported authorized scope.
- Bring stock into the operating ledger through inspected, authorized posting. Preserve existing source identities if migrating historical effects, then reconcile reservations and receipts against the corresponding physical evidence.
