Systems to connect

  • Forecast source. Choose the source of model recommendations and agree how model version, generation date, proposed units and confidence reach the demand proposal. Define the supporting evidence available for review.
  • Receipt and movement source. Map inspected physical events to the approved stock request, item, location and base unit. Preserve the original source identity when events are retried or corrected.
  • Authoritative external stock system. Where an operation carries an external reference, configure access to the system that can confirm its actual result. Agree the dispatch and receiving evidence needed for transit movements.
  • Document source. Establish how inspection and correction evidence is captured and attached to the request, with the intended Internal or Shared access handling.

How connections are governed

Name the owner of each connection and agree its identity and quantity mapping before accepting operating events. Keep model recommendations separate from authorized physical effects. A recommendation should not directly post an order or stock movement.

Rehearse repeated source events, uncertain responses and a mismatch between the claimed quantity and local postings. Reconciliation needs the actual authoritative evidence when external references are involved. Retain unresolved outcomes until the expected effect can be explained, and preserve the original source reference through any authorized compensation.
