Step by step

1. Prepare the inspected evidence Inventory Coordinator

   The Inventory Coordinator identifies the approved stock request revision and the source receipt or movement event. Supply the item, location and quantity context needed to explain the proposed physical effect.

2. Check operating eligibility Warehouse Operator

   The Warehouse Operator uses the guarded posting action to check the request revision, item base unit, location eligibility and applicable lot release and expiry evidence. Resolve a mismatch before representing the effect as posted stock.

   • Validate revision, units and eligible stock context
   • Updates Stock requests, Stock items, Stock lots, Storage locations

3. Post the signed effect Warehouse Operator

   The Warehouse Operator records the authorized receipt or movement through the action. It appends posted signed movements and a persisted operation result, preserving the source identity for later investigation or retry.

   • Append the authorized effect and its operation result
   • Updates Stock movements, Operation receipts

4. Inspect the resulting position Warehouse Operator

   The Warehouse Operator compares the recorded movements with the inspected source and operation receipt. Read on-hand from posted quantities in the correct item, location, lot and base-unit scope.

   • Compare posted stock with the inspected quantity and source
   • Updates Stock movements, Operation receipts, Stock requests
