- Who it's for
- Multi-organization operations
Multi-organization operations
A supply chain team may support several organizations that hold or receive stock. Each customer order carries its organization and customer. Each replenishment signal also carries the organization and parent order, giving the team a way to review pull work within the correct account scope.
How SCM with Kanban Replenishment is set up for you
Organization identity
Codes and active state help staff choose the intended operating entity.
Customer eligibility
Customer records identify active accounts and their organization.
Assigned ownership
Team members belong to an organization, and orders name an owner.
Evidence trail
Receipts, decisions and attachments connect back to the customer order.
A supply chain team may support several organizations that hold or receive stock. Each customer order carries its organization and customer. Each replenishment signal also carries the organization and parent order, giving the team a way to review pull work within the correct account scope.
The first configuration decision is who may see and act on each organization's records. The App Administrator maintains membership, while the Order Coordinator handles assigned operational work. The Auditor reads authorized evidence. A review decision should point to the same order and source revision that the coordinator prepared.
Select two organizations with different customer accounts. Prepare an order and signal for each. Sign in with staff assigned to one organization and confirm that the operating queue reflects the correct scope. Submit a current draft signal and inspect the receipt. Then rehearse an older revision and verify that the failure reason is visible to the people responsible for that order.
Compare the overview with the underlying orders. Confirmed value and unshipped units should lead staff to the specific parent and lines. A cross-organization mix-up should be caught from record identity before a replenishment request is acted on.
