How the model is organised

Stock catalog

Organizations own stock items; each stock lot points to its item and carries expiry and release state.

Operating scope

Organizations own storage locations and team members; a team member links to a User.

Request lifecycle

Stock requests links organization, owner, item and locations. Review decisions, record attachments and operation receipts point back to the request.

Stock effects

Stock movements links a request, item and location, with optional lot and reversal references. Stock reservations links a request, item and location, with an optional lot.

Recall work

Recall scopes links to its parent request and organization, retaining affected units and lot code.

Keys and references

Use the request record number for human discussion and its record reference for joins. Operation key identifies an attempted operation; source revision identifies the request version reviewed. SKU and lot code are useful labels, while item and lot references preserve exact relationships. The self-reference on stock movements records a reversal. The Users table links team membership to an account.

Migration order

  1. Load Organizations and Users, then team members and storage locations.
  2. Load stock items and stock lots with their item references and release states.
  3. Load stock requests with owner, organization, item and location references.
  4. Add linked review decisions, record attachments and recall scopes.
  5. Add stock movements, stock reservations and operation receipts after their parent requests exist; preserve reversal links.
  6. Reconcile quantities, lot identities, decision revisions and evidence before use.
