Systems to connect
- Existing item source. Agree which system owns SKU, item name and base unit before transferring master records.
- Warehouse operations. Decide how a warehouse system will provide or receive stock action references and how its outcome will be reconciled with operation receipts.
- Evidence storage. Decide which files belong on the request as Record Attachments and how the team handles their visibility.
- Reporting destination. Use request, movement, reservation and recall records for any external analysis that needs the same item and lot context.
How connections are governed
Name an owner for each connection and map its identifiers to the app’s item, lot, location and request references. Keep the external reference with an operation receipt when an action crosses a system boundary. Reconcile a repeated operation key to its earlier result before accepting another effect. Inventory Reviewer checks exceptions against the frozen request revision and related stock records. App Administrator maintains access and master setup; the operational decision remains with the reviewer.
