How the model is organised

Network setup

Organizations own storage locations, stock items and team members. Team members link to Users.

Request work

Stock requests name the organization, owner, item, location and counterparty location. Network transfers, record attachments, review decisions, operation receipts and stock movements link to a parent request.

Stock scope

Stock lots belong to stock items. Stock reservations link a request, item and location with an optional lot.

Quantity evidence

Stock movements link an item, location and optional lot; a correcting movement may point to another stock movements record through Reverses.

Keys and references

Keep organization codes, location codes, item SK us and lot codes consistent during migration. Record number identifies a row. Revision on stock requests and network transfers, source revision on review decisions and expected revision on operation receipts connect decisions and outcomes to the version of work they concern. Operation key distinguishes guarded action attempts.

Migration order

  1. Import Organizations and Users, then team members.
  2. Create storage locations and stock items under their organizations.
  3. Add stock lots for tracked items.
  4. Import stock requests with owners, items and locations resolved.
  5. Link network transfers, record attachments and review decisions to requests.
  6. Add stock reservations, stock movements and operation receipts after their parent and stock references exist.
