Start with a lot-tracked stock item whose lot code, expiry and release state are known. Have the coordinator prepare a request for that item at a named location and attach the part requirement. The reviewer checks the current request revision and the lot state before approving any claim against the stock.
Link an active reservation to the exact item, location and lot. When the part is used, compare its consumed state with the posted movement and the operation receipt. If a correction is needed, keep the original posted row and add a compensating row that points back to it. This preserves the quantity history for the Auditor.
Decide who maintains organization and location codes, who prepares requests, and who reconciles uncertain operations. A changed item or quantity should return through the same review discipline.
