Click Get started and use Proto to configure SCM with Returns Management for the people who will prepare requests, review revisions and reconcile stock effects. Name the operating organization and assign Inventory Coordinator, Inventory Reviewer, Auditor and App Administrator responsibilities.
Prepare the first operating cycle
Choose an active item, its base unit and lot rule, plus a receiving location and a storage destination. Collect a real return file for a pilot case. Create a stock request with requested units and required date, attach the evidence and ask Inventory Reviewer to decide the current revision. Then place an eligible reservation and record the actual signed movement.
Review before release
Open Operations Overview and compare on-hand and available quantity with posted movements and active reservations. Inspect the decision reason, operation receipt and any exception. Rehearse a changed revision and a wrong-location correction. Expand to refurbishment and additional locations once the team can explain the full trail for the pilot return.
