Schedule the cohort and record assessment

Organize accepted delivery work and prepare the separate evidence needed to demonstrate learning.

Step by step

  1. Check accepted dates Learning Coordinator

Learning Coordinator confirms the request's planned start and end, owner and learner count. Resolve any scope change before using the current revision for scheduling.

    • Confirm current delivery scope
    • Updates Learning requests, Programs
  2. Schedule the cohort Learning Coordinator

Learning Coordinator invokes the scheduling action for Accepted scope. The request moves to Scheduled, an attendance evidence line is recorded and the operation receipt identifies the result.

    • Move Accepted to Scheduled and record attendance activity
    • Updates Learning requests, Learning evidence, Operation receipts
  3. Record assessment work Assessor

Assessor adds the assessment entry with its learner reference, occurrence date and score under the same request. Attach the work sample or assessment record needed to explain the result.

    • Retain the assessment and supporting material
    • Updates Learning evidence, Record attachments
  4. Check the evidence Assessor

Assessor follows the agreed verification procedure and retains Pending, Verified or Rejected as appropriate. The score scale and evidence basis must be understandable to the completion owner and credential reviewer.

    • Record the result of the verification procedure
    • Updates Learning evidence, Record attachments
  5. Present the result Assessor or Learning Coordinator

Assessor identifies the verified assessment entry supporting the next decision. Learning Coordinator follows any unresolved evidence question before requesting learning completion.

    • Identify evidence for the completion check
    • Updates Learning evidence, Learning requests

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • Scheduling treated as achievement. The scheduling action creates no assessment score, verified result or credential. Inspect the later evidence before making those claims.
  • Unclear learner reference. Use the agreed reference convention so the assessor and coordinator identify the same person's work.
  • Unsupported verification. A Verified state needs the evidence check defined for the program and score basis.
