How a Social Media Analytics rollout works
Set up one measured profile and rehearse its review cycle.
Define scope
Choose the organization, measured property, owner, channel definition and reporting window for the first cycle.
Prepare sources
Agree source identifiers, mapping rules, consent basis and snapshot coverage before entering observations.
Define measures
Record the metric grain, expressions, aggregation method and version; have the Analytics Lead review the definition.
Rehearse review
Add facts, observations and evidence, then ask the Independent Reviewer to decide on the exact profile revision.
Inspect results
Compare linked metric results and operation runs; resolve exceptional statuses and assigned follow-up work.
Expand carefully
Repeat the same source and decision checks for another property or channel definition.
What the customer provides
Provide the organization and people who will own each profile, the channel definitions, source record identities and the reporting windows to use. Bring a sample capture with its coverage dates and any supporting documents. Decide who may review a revision and what open corrective work prevents publication.
Changing it afterwards
When a source mapping or metric expression changes, record its version and effective date. Keep earlier profile revisions, decisions and result references available. Rehearse a correction on the first property before changing a wider reporting cycle.
