Systems to connect
-
Social channel publishing. Hand approved posts to each channel and bring back the URL, channel post ID or failure reason.
-
Messages and comments. Bring direct messages, comments and replies in as inbox messages, and send replies back with their delivery status.
-
Listening and competitor capture. Bring mentions and competitor posts in with their UR ls and observed engagement.
-
Engagement data. Bring engagement events in and verify the daily post and account reporting grain.
-
Email and identity. Notify approvers and map team members to user accounts.
How connections are governed
Each connection needs an agreed source of truth, a field mapping, an event identifier and a retry policy. Admin manages credentials on social account records and limits access to safe account metadata. Define duplicate checks for inbound records and published posts, then verify retries against the channel before use. Keep failed records and their source identifiers visible for investigation.
Test an expired account connection, a duplicate inbound message and a failed reply before turning on schedules. Availability depends on each channel’s interface, commercial access and configuration.
Use the implementation plan to agree integration acceptance criteria.
