    • Updates Post channel targets, Social accounts
  3. Record the outcome Marketing Manager

Check each target’s Published, Failed or Skipped state against the channel result, retaining its URL, channel post ID, time or failure reason as applicable.

    • Pending → Published or Failed
    • Updates Post channel targets, Posts
  4. Review channel outcomes Marketing Manager

The marketing manager checks every target, not only the post's overall status, and decides on any retry.

    • Connection status checked
    • Updates Social accounts

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • The post shows published while one account failed.
  • A retry posts a duplicate because nobody checked for an existing channel post ID.
  • An expired account connection fails every post on that account.
