Keys and references
Use stable record identifiers and the explicit links between header and line records. The dealer reference on an order points to Projects. Receipt acceptance is held in installation checks against goods receipt lines. A shipment line points to its order line, and an invoice line can point to the shipped scope. Retain earlier revisions and decisions during correction.
Migration order
- Create entity, currency, user, warehouse and product masters.
- Load dealer and supplier masters with terms and pricing.
- Bring in open purchase orders, sales orders and their lines.
- Reconcile opening stock positions and finance balances.
- Rehearse a full transaction before opening the first period.
