How do I get started?
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Solar Project Management for your business. Begin with one dealer, supplier, product, warehouse and order-to-cash cycle.
Who approves a dealer order?
The Sales Manager reviews submitted scope and credit exposure before the order becomes approved.
How do partial supplier receipts work?
The warehouse records actual arrival, then confirms accepted and rejected quantities separately. The purchase remains open for the outstanding scope.
Can a shipment be partly delivered?
Yes. Record each delivery attempt and the accepted, refused, failed or damaged quantities against its shipment lines.
How do I know stock is available?
Check owned positions and their reserved quantity by product, warehouse, location and lot before claiming demand.
What happens to stock between warehouses?
Dispatch and destination receipt are separate events. The outstanding quantity stays visible in transit.
Who can approve an invoice?
The Finance Manager makes the independent approval decision before posting.
How is a dealer payment applied?
Record the actual cash receipt, then allocate a bounded amount to an invoice with the required currency evidence.
How are returns handled?
Authorize a return against the original transaction, record physical movement and disposition, then prepare any commercial credit separately.
What should we check before period close?
Reconcile bank, receivables, payables, inventory and other close tasks for the entity and period, then obtain the close decision.
