How a Supply Chain Analytics rollout works

Start with your top suppliers and one month the buyers and analyst can reconcile.

  1. Agree the operating boundary

The scope is purchase demand, approval, commitments, accepted receipts, fill rate snapshots and supplier performance. ERP purchasing, warehouse receiving, supplier portals and inventory remain connected. Your team decides targets and approval limits; Proto prepares configuration for review.

  2. Map the source data

Bring suppliers, open requests with lines, accepted quantities and prior fill rate history.

  3. Configure a bounded pilot

Pilot your top suppliers for one month. Approve, issue and receive through the app and lock month-end snapshots.

  4. Rehearse the exceptions

Return a request and approve the revised version. Record a short delivery and refuse an over-delivery. Submit an impossible snapshot. Cancel unexecuted scope.

  5. Reconcile and release

Compare open quantities, commitment and fill rates with the source. Obtain the procurement lead's acceptance before adding suppliers.

What the customer provides

  • Suppliers with eligibility notes.
  • Budget codes and approval limits.
  • Open requests with lines and required-by dates.
  • Fill rate scopes and targets.

Changing it afterwards

Use Proto to prepare changes on a branch. Review changed fields, permissions and reports with the procurement lead. Replay the pilot’s exception cases before release. Locked snapshots keep their figures.
