Distributed teams
A distributed people team needs the employee's location, country, entity and payroll calendar to agree before a change reaches pay. Talent Suite keeps those references on the employee record and dates the employment events that change position, manager or compensation. Use an employee who transfers between locations as the first operating case. HR Business Partner (HRBP) owns the event; Payroll Admin checks the period that will carry the result.
How Talent Suite is set up for you
Location and reporting
Compare the employee's position and location with the destination position. Record the prior and new manager on the dated transfer event.
Leave across regions
Employee chooses the applicable leave type and dates. The named approver checks the request and Payroll Admin reads its result for the pay period.
Pay period control
Payroll Admin uses the employee's payroll calendar, statement and effective benefit enrollment dates when reviewing a run.
Onboarding at a distance
A checklist gives task assignees due dates for IT, Facilities and HR work, including items blocked by a location change.

Choose a department with employees in different locations but a single people owner. Import the department, positions, locations and employees, then check manager and payroll calendar references on each pilot record. Rehearse a transfer whose effective date falls close to a pay cutoff. HR Business Partner (HRBP) records the event and Payroll Admin checks the statement period before the new assignment is treated as current.
Try a leave request across that same cutoff. Check the named approver and employee balance, then look at the receiving payroll period. If the location change requires identity access or payroll service updates, name an owner for each external connection and keep its acknowledgement separate from the internal employee event.
