How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Time Tracking for your business. Pilot one team for one pay period: log time by web, timer and mobile, submit and approve weekly sheets, and reconcile billed hours and the payroll bundle before adding teams.

Can people use timers?

Yes. Timers record each start, pause, resume and stop, and stopping finalizes one time entry rounded to the policy increment.

Does mobile entry work offline?

Entries captured without a signal wait in a sync queue and become time entries when the phone reconnects. Failed syncs show the reason.

Who creates the weekly timesheet?

Every Friday afternoon the week’s entries roll into one draft sheet per person. People review and submit it.

How are approvals routed?

Approval rules, evaluated in priority order, build a chain of project manager, resource manager, time approver or controller steps for each sheet.

Can sheets be approved automatically?

A rule can auto-approve a sheet whose hours are within its variance from forecast when the person has no open policy violations that week.

How are billable rates chosen?

A rate override for the person and project wins, then the project code’s rate, then the person’s default bill rate.

What happens after approval?

Every entry on the sheet is locked. Corrections need a reopen request decided by the Controller, or an approved lock exemption.

Does it run payroll or invoicing?

It sends approved billable hours to your billing system and locked hours to your payroll system at each period end.

What drives the cost?

Ordinary manual use has no per-user charge under the platform policy. Imports, integrations, agent execution and other machine work consume prepaid credits; implementation is scoped separately. The pricing page lists the current rates.
