How a Timesheet Management rollout works

Pilot one project week, test approval guards and expand after the decision trail is clear.

  1. Map ownership

Choose the organization, project manager, delivery lead, team member and reviewer for the pilot.

  2. Prepare project work

Enter the project, package and assigned task with dates and owners.

  3. Run a week

Record dated entries and submit the weekly record with positive hours and a valid revision.

  4. Decide and inspect

Submit an eligible entry and approve the weekly record, then compare the source statuses with decisions and receipts.

  5. Test exceptions

Try invalid hours, an invalid weekly revision and issue triage without severity; verify the blocked result and receipt.

  6. Expand

Add more projects after owners agree on the reconciliation and review practice.

What the customer provides

Bring organization and project names, project owners, work package structure, team roster and the intended week start. Name the people who may submit, decide weekly time and review entry outcomes. Bring a representative task and several dated time entries for the first rehearsal.

Changing it afterwards

Review role access, project naming and package ownership whenever the team changes. Keep the original decision and receipt trail when correcting a review problem. Rehearse changes in a sample week before they become part of the regular operating cycle.
