How a Tire Management rollout works
Pilot tire inspection and independent maintenance review with vehicle assignments the fleet team can verify.
Agree the operating boundary
Choose the organization, maintenance team and transport work for the pilot. Name Tire Inspector, Maintenance Reviewer and Dispatcher responsibilities, including who can investigate an uncertain physical outcome.
Map identities and evidence
Prepare vehicle codes, driver eligibility sources, tire serial conventions and position wording. Map inspection parents to known loads and relevant assignments. Keep original observations and source revisions during import.
Configure the pilot
Set up membership and access, then prepare ordinary tire work with the team. Review measurement units, attachment visibility, independent decisions and the evidence needed before marking maintenance Completed.
Rehearse exceptions
Include self-approval, a changed serial after submission, a vehicle substitution, an overlapping assignment and a failed completion receipt. Confirm the team can resolve each case without losing the original observation or repeating physical work.
Reconcile and release
Compare imported records with the source, inspect outstanding decisions and confirm operation outcomes. Have the operating owners accept the rehearsed scope before daily use, and keep the prior source available during the agreed cutover window.
What the customer provides
- Organization details, time zone and the staff identities participating in the pilot.
- Vehicle register, defect repair evidence and driver eligibility references.
- Tire serials, dated tread observations and agreed position terminology.
- Representative loads, committed assignment intervals and delivery promises.
- Rotation and replacement decision criteria, independent reviewers and workshop evidence expectations.
- Owners and access arrangements for any external connections being introduced.
Changing it afterwards
Use Proto to prepare changes and review the affected access, views, mappings and operating rules with their owners. Repeat the relevant exception cases before release. Preserve earlier observations and decisions when a position convention, reviewer assignment or integration changes. A new configuration should leave the original maintenance history understandable.
Prepare the first operating cycle and check the import order.
