How the model is organised

Load planning

Loads link to Organizations, team members through Owner, and transport partners through Counterparty. Load stops.Parent identifies the load; Routes retain standard lane reference information.

Plant dock appointments

Plant appointments.Parent points to Loads and Organization points to Organizations. Review decisions retain source table, source record and source revision for the decision being recorded.

Dispatch and tracking

Load assignments connect Load, Driver and Vehicle. Tracking events.Load identifies the journey whose milestone is being reported.

Delivery evidence

Proof of delivery has both Load and Stop references. Record attachments.Parent is text and needs an agreed record-reference convention.

Fleet readiness

Drivers and Vehicles belong to Organizations. Inspections, vehicle defects, maintenance plans and fuel transactions reference Vehicles.

Freight and reconciliation

Freight charges.Load identifies the charged movement. Operation receipts retain Action, external reference, Owner and result state; review decisions.Reviewer points to team members.

Keys and references

Use stable source-to-record mappings during import. Human numbers identify the operational documents, while actual references connect their records. Confirm that proof of delivery.Stop belongs to proof of delivery.Load. Resolve team members.User before using Loads.Owner for personal work queues.

Keep plant appointments.Revision with each reviewed request and review decisions.source revision with its decision. Decision at and decided at record different locations in the decision evidence and should reconcile for the same outcome. Do not infer a relational link from free text without an agreed mapping. Routes have no direct reference from Loads; Lane uses your agreed naming convention.

Migration order

  1. Import Organizations and Users, then team members and transport partners with resolved organization references.
  2. Import Drivers, Vehicles and Routes, confirming active states and the operating time convention.
  3. Import Loads and their load stops, then load assignments and plant appointments with valid parent records.
  4. Import tracking events, proof of delivery and record attachments using verified load, stop and parent mappings.
  5. Import Inspections, vehicle defects, maintenance plans and fuel transactions against their vehicles, then freight charges against their loads.
  6. Reconcile review decisions and operation receipts with their source record, revision and external-reference conventions before the operating owners accept the import.
