How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure TMS for Manufacturing for your business. Begin with a plant and recurring lane, import the current loads and agree the dock reviewer. Rehearse the trip through delivery verification and freight review before expanding.

How does a plant appointment relate to a load?

The appointment references its parent load and records the plant, dock, appointment time and planned pallets. It has its own review and completion progress. Approval confirms the reservation while the Dispatcher continues to record the load’s actual transport progress.

Who decides whether a dock request fits?

Dock Reviewer independently compares the submitted reservation with the published dock capacity and capacity note. The reviewer records an approval or rejection against the request revision, with its decision time and supporting review evidence.

What happens when the pallet request is too large?

The reviewer rejects an unsuitable request with a reason. Dispatcher works with the plant on a suitable reservation and prepares the corrected request for review. Keep the earlier decision understandable when comparing it with the revision that follows.

How do we handle an equipment change?

Fleet Coordinator reviews the defect or service issue with Dispatcher. Dispatcher updates the assignment to the agreed driver and vehicle, records the availability check and reviews the effect on the load and plant appointment before departure.

Where do tracking updates come from?

Staff can record events with their source, location and occurrence time. Driver-app, partner or telematics feeds need a configured connection and a tested mapping to the correct load. Confirm reported milestones against their evidence when resolving a discrepancy.

When is a delivery verified?

Delivery Coordinator checks the receiving time, person and signature reference against the intended load and stop. A matching account can become Verified. Conflicting evidence remains Disputed while the responsible people investigate the document and journey.

Can freight review include detention and fuel charges?

Freight charges can identify detention, layover, fuel surcharge and other supported charge types against a load. Freight Analyst reviews the amount and currency with its evidence. Vehicle fuel purchases have their own records and should be compared within an agreed unit and monetary basis.

What do we connect during setup?

Agree the connections needed for production demand, warehouse or customer-order handoffs, external tracking and finance. Each source needs a mapping, responsible owner and tested handling for repeated or uncertain messages. Begin with the connections required by the pilot lane.

How is pricing handled?

Ordinary manual work and machine activity follow the platform’s published pricing policy, with implementation scoped separately. Review the pricing page and estimate the pilot’s imports, agent activity and retained data with the implementation team.
